Scientific Lens FC 1970s - Being presented a trophy by Mr Holdsworth, Chairman of the Hastings League. In the picture are:- Barry Pilcher (c), Stevie Benton, Alfie Benton, Micky Reed, Vic Reed, Phil Ward, Johnny Angel, John Birch and Jack Paget (Manager). Also in the team but not in the picture were Malcom Streeter and Chris Standivan. The team represented Hastings in a game against a team from Bethune, France, after the towns were twinned and 5 players also represented the Hastings & Eastbourne League.
